The Experience
The Sommelier's Table is a 3-hour private masterclass combining a 4-course authentic Roman dinner with professional wine pairings, led exclusively by Sommelier Fabio Savi. It's more than a dinner — it's an educational epicurean journey through Italian eno-gastronomy, designed for discerning travelers who seek intimacy, expertise, and a memory that lasts well beyond the last glass.
The Sommelier's Table has a dual soul: it is both a wine & food pairing masterclass
and a social dinner experience. This means you may find yourself sharing a convivial, lively table
with other guests who are equally passionate about Italian eno-gastronomy — turning strangers into fellow travellers over
a glass of great wine.
If you prefer a separate table for your group, simply request it when you get in touch
during the booking process and we will arrange it for you. Likewise, if you wish to
reserve the entire private room for an exclusive event — a corporate dinner, a celebration,
or a luxury incentive — just let us know and we will tailor the evening entirely around your needs.
The full experience is approximately 3 hours, available exclusively in the dinner slot. This includes the welcome, the full 4-course menu with guided wine pairings, and the educational storytelling woven throughout the evening by your private sommelier.
The experience is held at the historic Bar del Fico Restaurant, located in the heart of Rome's old city center, just a few steps from Piazza Navona. The unique essence of this journey begins right in the square: you will meet your sommelier for a personal introduction, before being guided through an exclusive path of art, history, and secret corners, leading you directly to the dinner table for a seamless blend of cultural and culinary beauty.
In English by default. However, if the evening allows — depending on the composition of the group — it can be delivered in Italian upon request. Simply let us know your preference at the time of booking and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Absolutely. Our menus can be fully adjusted based on our guests' needs — vegetarian options, food intolerances, and allergies are all accommodated. Please specify any requirements at the time of booking so we can personalise the experience accordingly.
We serve a curated selection of Italy's finest premium labels, personally chosen by Sommelier Fabio Savi to harmonise perfectly with each course. The experience accommodates a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 20 guests. It is designed for intimate FIT groups, couples, honeymooners, and small boutique travel groups. For private corporate events or special parties, please contact us directly to discuss tailored arrangements.
We recommend booking as early as possible — availability in our private room is limited and fills up quickly throughout the year. Please note that reservations with less than 48 hours' notice cannot be accepted, as our experience requires careful preparation in advance.

To guarantee the quality of fresh ingredients and manage dedicated staffing, cancellations will be eligible for a 50% refund.

Credit Option (Always Available)
As an alternative to a refund, you may request a credit voucher for 100% of the amount paid at any time. This credit is valid for 6 months from the date of issue toward a future date.
Children aged 0–3 years attend free of charge. Alcohol is served exclusively to adults aged 18 and over, in compliance with Italian regulations. Please mention any children in your group at the time of booking.
